The Squirrel and a tree.

No one really thinks about it this way, but squirrels have a symbiotic with trees in the fact that when they gather nuts and bury them in the winter, they forget about many of their stashes when spring arrives. With the ones they find, they have a source of food, but the others have a chance of sprouting into a tree. (Depicted in this short comic.) (P.S. not a comic major.)

  1. this is one biologist love - because we see the benefit of the squirrels forgetting where they left the nuts, but why not like many parasites, take over the brain to remind it - or to purposely make it forget where it left them? What was the states in between this to get them there?
