See through animals

When I saw this I was like, this has to go on the blog.
“Tomita uses an enzyme to dissolve the natural proteins in the flesh. He then injects red dyes into the harder bones and blue dyes into the softer cartilage, thus highlighting usually unseen internal structures. The dead creature is then preserved in a jar of glycerin”. They were first created to study skeletal systems in different animals. People just seemed to think they look really cool, so you can actually buy them in japan just to have.
Can you imagine if we did this in humans? What would it mean in the medical world, especially for med students?
